CELOTTI WORKFORCE is currently seeking an experienced National HR Manager for a growing construction and resources organisation based in Melbourne, VIC, with operations across Australia.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced HR professional looking to influence workforce strategy, drive organisational performance and support the continued growth of a dynamic national business.

Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, you will take ownership of Human Resources, Payroll, Administration and Business Support functions across the organisation while partnering closely with operational leaders to deliver commercial and people focused outcomes.

This is a permanent full time position with occasional travel to operational sites as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the organisation's people strategy in alignment with business objectives
• Partner with executive and operational leaders to support workforce planning, organisational growth and performance improvement
• Provide leadership across Human Resources, Payroll, Administration and Business Support functions
• Lead talent acquisition initiatives to attract, develop and retain high performing employees
• Provide expert guidance on employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management and disciplinary matters
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, industrial relations frameworks and company policies
• Drive leadership development, succession planning and employee engagement initiatives
• Oversee workforce compliance, training requirements, licences, qualifications and mobilisation processes
• Monitor workforce metrics and provide meaningful reporting and recommendations to leadership
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and employee experience
• Support budgeting, forecasting and workforce planning activities
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across multiple business units
• Lead, mentor and develop a high performing HR and business support team
• Promote a positive, accountable and safety focused workplace culture

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in a senior HR leadership position within construction, resources, infrastructure, engineering or a similar operational environment
• Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations practices
• Demonstrated experience partnering with senior operational leaders across multi site businesses
• Extensive experience managing complex employee and industrial relations matters
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to align people strategies with business objectives
• Experience leading teams and building high performing workplace cultures
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels
• Strong organisational, problem solving and decision making capabilities
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Industrial Relations or a related discipline
