Sanitation Associate

Job Title: Sanitation Associate
Location: Rochester, NY

Summary: Nesco Resource is seeking a Cleaner to support a large industrial and office campus in Rochester. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping standards across multiple buildings, including offices, labs, manufacturing areas, and common spaces. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while maintaining high cleanliness standards in a professional environment.

Pay Rate:

• $16.00/Hour

Shift:

• Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean hallways, stairwells, restrooms, lobbies, break rooms, offices, labs, and manufacturing areas

• Follow a defined cleaning route to empty trash, vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, clean glass, and dust surfaces

• Clean and restock restroom supplies as needed

• Respond to special cleaning requests as directed by team leadership

• Assist with backfilling duties for team members during absences

• Support high-level housekeeping needs in hospitality areas, dining rooms, theaters, and conference centers

• Perform duties to a high standard to meet facility expectations

• Maintain compliance with safety standards and procedures

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of general cleaning practices, materials, chemicals, and equipment

• Understanding of safe work practices and personal safety limitations

• Experience using cleaning machinery is helpful but not required

• Ability to work independently and follow direction from supervisors

• Flexible and responsive to changing needs and priorities
