Event Coordinator

Duration: 10 months (view to extend)

Location: Sydney

· We’re partnering with a leading global technology organisation seeking an organised Event Coordinator to support the delivery of internal and external events across two high-performing business teams.

· This role sits at the centre of event operations, communications, stakeholder coordination, and engagement activity. You’ll play a key role ensuring events run seamlessly from planning through to execution, while also managing the communications, collateral, and coordination activities that support them.

Key Responsibilities

· Coordinate end-to-end delivery of internal and external events across multiple teams and regions

· Manage event communications, attendee coordination, presentations, and supporting materials

· Develop and distribute engaging event communications, updates, invitations, and announcements

· Partner closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure successful planning and execution of initiatives

· Create polished promotional and presentation materials using Canva and Google Workspace tools

· Coordinate calendars, timelines, action tracking, and event deliverables across competing priorities

· Support virtual, hybrid, and in-person events across global time zones

· Manage collaboration and communication channels through Slack and other internal platforms



Experience

· Previous experience in an Event Coordinator, Team Coordinator, Internal Communications, or Operations support role within a global organisation.

· Strong experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously

· Advanced organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail

· Confident working across fast-paced, high-volume environments

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Hands-on experience with:

o Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets, Calendar, Drive)

o Slack

o Canva

· Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams

· Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset

· Comfortable managing ambiguity and working independently when required
