The Opportunity:

RobLawMax have partnered with a well established Civil Contractor based in Christchurch. This medium size business is now looking for their next Civil Foreman to join their team. They are looking for a hands-on person that can get stuck in on the ground and lead by example, run a crew and manage their own workload. Reporting to the Construction Manager you will be responsible for overseeing greenfield projects across Christchurch.

Ideally you will need/responsibilities:

  • Proven industry experience within civil construction and overseeing the daily operations of projects from start to finish
  • Able to read and interpret plans and specifications accurately
  • Liaising with sub-contractors, engineers and ordering plant/material
  • Operate various machinery (excavator, loader, roller, loader)
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety
  • Min Class 1 licence with WTR (class 2 preferred)
  • Site Safe (preferred)
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Able to travel for work when required
