The Role
This role sits within a small finance team and supports the smooth running of financial operations across a range of entities.
With a strong focus on transactional accuracy and process reliability, you’ll be responsible for ensuring payments, reconciliations and financial records are maintained to a high standard. The role offers variety across accounts payable, receivable, banking and month-end support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing invoices and managing accounts payable across multiple entities
- Preparing payment runs and ensuring approvals are completed accurately
- Supporting accounts receivable activities including invoicing and allocations
- Completing daily bank reconciliations and monitoring cash movements
- Assisting with month-end tasks including journals and reconciliations
- Managing financial documentation and maintaining organised records
- Supporting internal stakeholders and responding to finance-related queries
- Assisting with process improvements and ad hoc finance tasks
About you
You’re a reliable and detail-focused finance professional who takes pride in accuracy and consistency. You enjoy working in a structured environment and are comfortable managing multiple priorities across a range of tasks.
You will bring:
- Experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts or similar role
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, receivable and reconciliation processes
- Experience working with accounting systems (Xero or similar)
- Solid Excel skills and confidence working with data
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
- Clear communication skills and a team-focused approach
