Traffic Safety Spotter – Recycling Plant
Location: Happy Valley & I-17
Pay: $17.00/hour

Position Summary

The Traffic Safety Spotter is responsible for ensuring the safe movement of vehicles and heavy equipment throughout the recycling facility. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and control traffic flow within the facility
  • Assist drivers and equipment operators with safe navigation, loading, and unloading
  • Provide clear directions using hand signals and communication tools
  • Monitor surroundings for potential safety hazards
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with team members using radios and other tools

Requirements / Working Conditions

  • No prior experience required – training provided
  • Ability to stand for the entire shift
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Must be able to wear required PPE at all times
  • Ability to work assigned schedule, including weekends
