Production Assembler

Hours: Monday – Thursday: 08:00–16:30 / Friday: 08:00–16:00

Pay Rate: £12.71 – £13.50 per hour

We are currently supporting a well‑established engineering and manufacturing organisation based in the UK who require Mechanical Assemblers to join their production team on a monthly rolling contract.

This is a hands‑on assembly role within a clean, structured manufacturing environment, working on the build and assembly of complex engineered enclosures and equipment.

Key Responsibilities for the Mechanical Assembler

• Mechanical assembly of engineered units and sub‑assemblies
• Working from engineering drawings and assembly instructions
• Use of hand tools and basic power tools
• Fitting components, panels and fixtures to a high standard
• Carrying out visual and quality checks during the build process
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area

Skills & Experience for the successful Mechanical Assembler

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Assembler or Production Assembler
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings or work instructions
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Background in mechanical, fabrication, or equipment assembly environments preferred
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a small team
