Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate on-site teams, providing daily direction and task allocation
- Interpret plans and specifications to determine the layout, alignment, and depth of underground water, stormwater, and sewer infrastructure
- Set out and install below-ground concrete, PVC, GRP, and ductile pipelines
- Perform site drainage and de-watering activities, including stormwater, sub-soil, and pumped systems
- Test drainage systems and identify and clear blockages within underground services
- Install excavation supports while ensuring compliance with all safety requirements
- Excavate trenches to required depths using hand tools and machinery
- 3 years’ experience in a similar role within civil or utilities infrastructure projects
- Experience working to water authority standards and requirements is highly regarded (FIFM)
- Strong understanding and commitment to health, safety, environmental, and quality practices
- Proactive attitude with the ability to show initiative and problem-solving skills
- Current Construction White Card
- Valid driver’s license with flexibility to travel between sites
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
