Site Manager

Design & Build are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established Melbourne builder with a strong reputation across the high-end residential sector.

Our client specialises in delivering high-end single dwelling and apartment projects valued up to $10m. With multiple projects already underway and a strong pipeline of upcoming work secured, they are now looking for someone to join the team and take ownership on an active site. 

This is a great opportunity for someone who values quality construction and has experience delivering high-end apartment projects. You’ll be joining a team environment made up of professionals who truly care about both the work they deliver and the culture they’ve built.

As Site Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing all on-site activities 
• Overseeing the construction of high end residential apartments and single dwellings (with basements)
• Working closely with the Project Manager who handles the overall program
• Keeping the build on track, on budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Leading a team and coordinating trusted subcontractors
• Utilizing various construction systems on a daily basis

The ideal candidate:

• Proven experience delivering multiple high-end residential projects valued $6m+
• Experience on high-end apartment projects, including basements
• Excellent communication skills with ability to lead an internal team and liaise with clients and stakeholders
• Confident using construction management systems and documentation software
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to high-quality finishes
• Strong time management and leadership ability
