Sourcing Specialist (Juno Beach, FL)

Location: Juno Beach, FL (Onsite)

Duration: 12-Month Contract (W2)

Pay Rate: $22.00 – $26.00/hr




Position Summary

Our client, a leading utility organisation, is seeking a detail-oriented Sourcing Specialist to support purchasing operations on a 12-month contract basis. The successful candidate will manage purchase orders, support system transition activities, and collaborate cross-functionally to maintain smooth procurement workflows.




Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders (POs) accurately and in a timely manner.
• Manage and maintain existing POs, including updates, confirmations, and issue resolution.
• Support special projects including: identifying and resolving past due purchase orders; data cleanup and validation activities; and preparing the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) system for the transition to GEP.
• Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, planning, finance, and suppliers) to ensure smooth purchasing workflows.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits and reporting.
• Assist with process improvements and standardisation efforts across the supply chain function.

Education & Experience

• Experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, or related operations.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with ERP, SRM, or procurement systems.

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience with Power BI or other data visualisation tools.
• Familiarity with GEP or similar procurement platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
