Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventative maintenance on processing equipment including extrusion lines, chillers, and auxiliary plastic processing machinery, following manufacturer specifications.
• Fabricate machinery and storage systems (minimum 5 years of experience required).
• Perform welding tasks (strong welding experience preferred).
• Troubleshoot control systems for processing equipment.
• Apply industrial electrical knowledge (experience is a plus).
• Operate lathe and milling machines for general machining tasks.
• Maintain organized workspaces using 5S methodology.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Safely lift and maneuver equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Perform general rigging and operate forklifts.
• Apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Qualifications:

• 5 years’ experience in machinery maintenance and fabrication.
• 2+ years experience with material feed systems, scales, blenders and Plastic Processing equipment. 
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with machining tools and techniques.
• Forklift certification and LOTO training are preferred.
