The Role:
As the Safety Advisor, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and be the go-to person for all things safety across the site. This role is fully autonomous, meaning you’ll have the freedom to drive safety initiatives, manage compliance, and promote a culture of health and safety. You’ll also oversee Injury Management and play a key part in Safety, Health, and Environment management.

Key duties include:
- Safety Inductions: Manage and coordinate all inductions across the site.
- Compliance: Conduct site walks and ensure that all safety standards are met.
- Safety Admin: Manage all documentation related to safety processes and compliance.
- Return to Work: Assist with injury management and return-to-work plans.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Health & Safety Champion: Lead the way in promoting a positive safety culture.
- Qualifications: Tertiary degree in Safety or equivalent preferred but not essential!
- Self- Management: Being able to self-manage and perform required tasks without the need for a manager to oversee is essential!
- Attributes: A proactive communicator with strong multitasking abilities and leadership skills.
