This team operates within a modern AWS serverless ecosystem, supporting platforms including mobile applications, customer/resident portals, website infrastructure, and internal/external service integrations. You will partner closely with engineering leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions.

- With major initiatives underway. Including API-first re-platforming, mobile enhancements, and AI integrations, this engineer will play a critical role in designing and building the next generation of backend services.
- This has been a 90+ day search, highlighting the need for a unique combination of serverless AWS expertise, backend ownership, and communication skills.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Designing and developing scalable, API-driven backend services in AWS
- Building within a serverless architecture (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3)
- Supporting platforms across mobile, web, and enterprise integrations
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders
- Translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Leading initiatives, conducting code reviews, and mentoring engineers
- Supporting CI/CD pipelines, testing, deployments, and UAT coordination
- 6–8+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong experience with AWS serverless technologies (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3)
- Backend-heavy development experience (~80% backend focus)
- Proficiency in Python and/or Node.js
- Experience with API-driven / microservices architectures
- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Full-stack exposure (React, React Native, GraphQL, TypeScript/JavaScript)
- Proven ability to lead projects and mentor engineers
