EUC Contract Engineer - ASAP start

• 5-month contract | $85-$100/hr + GST
• Auckland CBD | 3 days/week in office

A short-term contract opportunity has presented itself for a hands-on EUC Engineer. This is a great opportunity for someone who knows the Microsoft endpoint toolset inside out and wants to own a well-established environment across a nationwide device fleet of approximately 1,500 endpoints. You'll be dropped in, expected to hit the ground running, and trusted to own issues end-to-end.

The Role:

This is a 5-month contract requiring strong BAU skills, and, less emphasis on the architecture/design front.  This role is well-suited to an intermediate to senior-level operator with decent BAU exposure and experience. As part of a lean but effective team, your days will be varied and may include:

• Owning day-to-day EUC engineering and BAU operations
• Managing escalations from L1 and L2 service desk through to resolution
• Monthly patching of Windows, Office, and third-party applications, including vulnerability management
• Managing and progressing application packaging requests
• Driving the annual Windows 11 upgrade cycle 
• Liaising with vendors for issue resolution as required

Must-haves:

• Strong, hands-on SCCM / MECM experience
• Solid Intune / Microsoft Endpoint Manager experience in a co-management or modern management setting
• Group Policy management and troubleshooting
• Windows 11 troubleshooting at scale
• End-to-end application packaging experience
• Calm under pressure with strong stakeholder management during incidents
