About the Role

This full-time position, involves teaching Mathematics across Years 7–12. The role includes delivering rigorous, curriculum-aligned programs that build numeracy, problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking. The successful teacher will join a cohesive faculty committed to academic excellence and supporting students to achieve strong outcomes across junior and senior levels.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Mathematics programs aligned to the ACT curriculum

• Maintain a structured, inclusive classroom environment that supports wellbeing

• Use assessment data to inform planning and differentiate learning

• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress

• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to faculty and whole-school initiatives

Requirements

• Registration with, or eligibility for, the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI)

• Full Australian working rights

• Two professional referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding
