Position Summary

Student Support
- Provide individual and small-group counseling on academic, behavioral, and personal concerns
- Develop and implement intervention plans for students facing challenges
- Support crisis response and provide appropriate referrals to outside services
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, confidential records
- Partner with teachers, administrators, and support staff to address student needs
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student development and resources
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams and student support meetings
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in School Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Valid state certification or licensure as a LMFT or School Counselor
- Knowledge of child/adolescent development and counseling techniques
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Experience in K–12 educational settings
- Crisis intervention and conflict resolution training
- Cultural competence and commitment to equity and inclusion
