We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with experience in data visualization, business intelligence, and analytics. We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with experience in data visualization, business intelligence, and analytics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights through interactive dashboards and reports, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Connect to various data sources (SQL databases, APIs, cloud platforms) and transform data using Power Query
- Develop and optimize data models, including relationships, measures, and calculated columns
- Write complex DAX formulas for advanced analytics and reporting needs
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance of reports and dashboards
- Optimize report performance and implement best practices for scalability
- Manage and deploy Power BI solutions (Power BI Service, workspaces, apps)
- Implement row-level security (RLS) and data governance policies
- Troubleshoot data and visualization issues and provide user support
- Document data models, dashboards, and development processes
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in BI development or data analytics
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI (Desktop and Service)
- Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M language), and data modeling concepts
- Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and transformation
- Experience working with relational databases and data warehouses
- Solid understanding of data visualization best practices
- Experience with Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse)
- Familiarity with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker)
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., Power BI Data Analyst Associate)
