Content Designer

The Role

Working closely with the Manager of Advocacy and Content and the broader Practice, Evidence and Impact team, you will provide design, content and capability support to deliver high-quality, visually engaging and accessible materials. This role plays a key part in translating complex information into clear, professional and shareable outputs.
  
Duties will include:

• Produce high quality infographics across multiple platforms
• Translate complex data and insights into clear, engaging and accessible formats
• Ensure consistency, accuracy and high visual standards across all content and publications
• Develop templates, tools and resources to improve design efficiencies
• Work with team members and stakeholders to deliver coordinated outputs
• Create visual assets including report covers, graphics and layouts for data-heavy content

Skills Required

You will bring experience in content and publication design ideally within a purpose-led or not-for-profit environment, and be able to demonstrate:

• Strong design and visual communication skills, with experience producing reports and infographics
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content
• Previous mentoring, advisory and training skills
• Proficiency in design and content tools such as Canva, Microsoft Office and AI
• Experience developing templates, style guides or content systems
• Understanding of accessible design principles and best practice
