Project Manager - BESS

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure projects are designed and executed in a safe and reliable manner in partnership with the safety team
• Implement and uphold quality management systems across the project lifecycle
• Oversee engineering and design activities from concept through execution
• Lead project planning efforts and ensure adherence to schedule and milestones
• Manage client relationships, fostering strong communication and long-term partnerships
• Own all financial aspects of the project, working closely with Project Controls
• Administer and manage contract agreements between the client and EPC
• Coordinate with Engineering and Supply Chain on equipment selection and procurement
• Lead cross-functional collaboration between business development, pre-construction, and execution teams
• Support project closeout activities to ensure successful delivery
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Project Management experience
• Experience with energy storage projects, specifically Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
• Utility-scale project experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; database experience is a plus
• Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively
