Super opportunity for an ambitious Solicitor to join a well-established planning law team in Edinburgh, gain exposure to both contentious and non-contentious planning work across a diverse client base and development portfolio—from national major projects to local developments.

What You’ll Do:
  • Advise on contentious and non-contentious planning matters
  • Handle environmental law issues and compulsory purchase cases
  • Support public inquiries, planning appeals, and judicial review proceedings
  • Work on complex cases alongside senior colleagues
  • Manage matters independently where appropriate
  • Contribute to client relationships and team goals
Who We’re Looking For:
  • 2–5 years PQE (more experienced candidates considered)
  • Experience in planning or environmental law
  • Strong analytical, communication, and client service skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Interest in professional development and business growth
  • Qualified in Scots law or dual-qualified in Scottish Laws
