Class 2/4 Civil Truck Driver

This position suits someone who enjoys more than just driving — you’ll be confident operating trucks while also jumping in with the team on the ground when needed. You’ll play a key role in supporting civil operations and helping projects run smoothly from start to finish.

If you’ve got a background in civil construction, truck driving, and don’t mind getting stuck into site work, this could be a great fit.

What you’ll be doing:

• Operating Class 2 and/or Class 4 tipper trucks across civil construction sites
• Moving materials, machinery, and equipment safely to and from site
• Assisting with general site duties and civil labouring when required
• Supporting tasks such as spotting, digging, basic traffic control support, and site clean-up
• Carrying out daily truck inspections and keeping vehicles clean and maintained
• Working closely with civil crews across a range of Kapiti Coast projects

What we’re looking for:

• Full Class 4 NZ driver’s licence
• Previous civil construction or related site experience
• WTR endorsements are a bonus, but not essential
• Willingness to assist with hands-on ground work
• Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
