Site Manager

An established industrial builder is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a warehouse and industrial development in Melbourne’s western suburbs.
This is an opportunity to join a well-respected construction team with a strong pipeline of industrial projects and a reputation for delivering high-quality warehouse, logistics, and business park developments across Victoria.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site construction activities from commencement through to completion
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
• Drive site safety culture and ensure compliance with OH&S requirements
• Monitor construction programmes and proactively manage project milestones
• Conduct site meetings and liaise with consultants, authorities, and stakeholders
• Ensure quality assurance procedures are maintained throughout the build
• Identify and resolve site issues efficiently to minimise delays
• Maintain accurate site records, reporting, and documentation
• Assist in achieving project budgets and programme targets

About You

• Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering industrial, warehouse, commercial, or high-end residential projects
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and site logistics
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Sound knowledge of Australian building standards and OH&S legislation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Current White Card and relevant construction qualifications
