About the Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this part-time Senior Finance Officer role follows a structured 7-day fortnight:

  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
  • Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
  • (7.6-hour days)

Working in a hands-on, manual environment, you’ll take ownership across transactional finance and support month-end processes. Responsibilities include:

  • End-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Processing Medicare claims and monthly submissions
  • Bank and account reconciliations
  • Assisting with month-end close
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting reporting

About You

  • Proven experience in a similar Finance Officer or all-rounder finance role
  • AP/AR background in a manual or low-system environments
  • Experience processing Medicare claims (or similar claims) is highly regarded
  • High attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
  • Confident communicator with a practical, hands-on approach
  • DEgree qualifications would be
