Senior Business Analyst

This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping compliant, scalable solutions across a regulated environment, working closely with both business and technology stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis across multiple complex projects within a regulated PHI environment
• Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria using AI Prompting
• Translate business needs into scalable, compliant technology solutions
• Act as the bridge between stakeholders and delivery teams (business, IT, vendors, and system integrators)
• Develop artefacts including process maps, data flows, technical specifications, and impact assessments
• Collaborate with SMEs across products, pricing, claims, operations, and compliance
• Support solution design, development, testing, and implementation phases
• Manage and prioritise the product/project backlog aligned to strategic and regulatory objectives
• Identify process gaps, resolve data issues, and drive continuous improvement

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst / Functional BA
• Strong background in Private Health Insurance (PHI)
  • Products, pricing, claims, membership, and policy structures
  • Regulatory and compliance frameworks
• Excellent documentation skills (user stories, use cases, functional specs, requirements) utlising AI Prompting
• Experience across the full SDLC in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid environments
• Solid understanding of system design, integrations, APIs, and databases
• Proven experience working with vendors and delivery partners
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
