2. Are you willing to consider BE candidates? Yes, but need explanation of why not certified (If been out more then a couple of years and not certified then no)
3. Life support certifications required? BLS, ACLS
4. Approximate patient load for the day shifts? Avg # is 15-17; avg admissions 7/day
5. How many hospitalists on duty during the day shift? two
6. How many hospitalists on duty during the night shift? one
7. Will the Hospitalist have ICU duties and need to be proficient with procedures? Yes ICU duties, not required to do central lines and intubations
8. Are there any procedures required? Vent management yes, ekg yes, chest tube, not required. Central lines, not required. Intubation, not required.
9. Do the Hospitalists respond to codes? Yes
10. Patient ages? 18-100 years
11. Charting/Dictation/EMR? Diction of H and Ps and Discharge Summaries, hand written progress notes. Lab and xray viewable on computer.
Please remember when you are submitting a physician/midlevel for any specialty, please make sure:
--they have a current NC license, not "in process"
--Meet criteria listed on need, if a few concerns, please address upon clearing name please make sure you have spoken with physician before presenting, the physician needs to be aware of location and exact need/dates
-- We prefer to have candidate answer NO’s on credentialing sheet (no malpractice, no public files, no license suspensions, etc). Though we have taken candidates with past history when we are not rushed for credentialing.
--to clear name: in subject line = CLEAR NAME, FULL name of candidate, specialty, facility name. In body of email, please state exact dates of availability and the rates for particular assignment. I will clear name within one business day.
--Once name clears, please send me a FULL UPDATED CV, with contact info of physician including address, email, and a contact phone #, as well as three recent references from employers.
**please make sure you forward this information to your recruiters. I will not accept candidates unless they are presented this way. This insures that you have contacted physician regarding opportunity.
Credentialing takes anywhere from 4-6 weeks. Start date will be determined according to credentialing. Need ASAP.
