Assembly Technician / Packer

Location: Statesville, NC

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
1st shift
6:00am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday with occasional OT

Schedule: Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Assembly Technicians / Packers to join a growing manufacturing team in Statesville, NC. This position is responsible for assembling products, performing quality inspections, and preparing finished goods for shipment while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble products and components according to work instructions and specifications using hand tools and assembly equipment

• Operate and maintain assembly line equipment to ensure efficient production flow

• Perform quality inspections using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify products meet required specifications

• Identify and report defective materials, equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or production issues to supervisors

• Package finished products for shipment and prepare orders for delivery

• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE, including safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and hearing protection

• Work effectively with team members to meet daily production goals and maintain workflow efficiency

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and work on feet for 8–10 hour shifts

• Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements throughout the workday

• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials weighing up to 35 pounds

• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise assembly tasks

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, packing, or production experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and recording production information

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities and safety awareness
