Junior Estimator- Mixed-Use Construction (Cincinnati, OH)

As their project pipeline grows, they are seeking a skilled Assistant Superintendent to join their team.

• Assist in preparing and estimating budget costs for mixed-use construction projects, reviewing plans and specifications for accuracy.
• Support the evaluation of project scope, considering site requirements, changes, and cost adjustments for mixed-use developments.
• Help analyze and resolve cost discrepancies in project budgets, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Contribute to developing and presenting budgets, reports, and project plans for mixed-use construction projects.
• Assist in creating competitive bids, working closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure precise project estimation.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and site managers to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Help review and analyze drawings, specifications, proposals, and other project-related documents.
• Prioritize and manage deadlines for bids, helping determine general conditions and specific project requirements.
• Participate in pre-bid walk-throughs to identify key bid items and project challenges.
• Prepare detailed work summaries and assemble proposal documents for client submission.
• Facilitate Estimator-to-Project Manager handoff meetings to ensure seamless project transitions.

• 1-2 years of experience in construction estimating, with exposure to mixed-use projects preferred.
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of quantity surveying and cost estimating for general construction.
• Familiarity with mixed-use construction methods, project planning, and sequencing of construction activities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment, with a desire to advance into higher-level estimating or project management roles.
