Saw Operator – 1st Shift

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Nesco Resource is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Saw Operator for a 1st shift opportunity with a growing manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have experience operating saw equipment, reading work orders, and producing quality parts in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate saw equipment to cut raw materials according to specifications and production requirements.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production documents.
• Measure and inspect materials to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
• Perform routine machine adjustments and basic preventative maintenance.
• Monitor equipment performance and report any mechanical issues.
• Maintain production records and documentation as required.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Work effectively with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing or saw operation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and use measuring tools such as tape measures, rulers, and calipers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn equipment operation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
