Production Associate

Job Title: Production Associate
Location: Rochester, NY

Summary: Nesco Resource is seeking Production Associates to support film converting and packaging operations in a manufacturing environment. This role involves operating a variety of equipment while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn and grow within a production setting. Opportunity for permanent hire based on performance.

Pay Rate:

• $20.00/Hour

Shift:

• Rotating 12-Hour Swing Schedule
  • 2 Day Shifts (5:42 AM - 6:00 PM)
  • 2 Overnight Shifts (5:42 PM - 6:00 AM)
  • 4 Days Off
    • Must be available for schedule changes and overtime as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete required operator training programs

• Operate film converting and packaging equipment

• Rotate between various positions as needed

• Work in both darkroom and lightroom environments

• Follow strict operational safety procedures and quality standards

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Obtain and maintain powered industrial truck (fork truck) certification

• Support continuous improvement initiatives

• Work overtime as required

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Some college coursework or Associate's Degree preferred

• Manufacturing or technical experience preferred but not required

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Detail-oriented team player with good manual dexterity

• Ability to read and follow job-related materials and instructions

• Ability to work rotating shifts including overnights

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
