Wellness Director

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead and manage all clinical operations within our skilled nursing facility. The DON will oversee the nursing team, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold the highest standards of resident care and safety.

Responsibilities:
Supervise and support all nursing staff, ensuring quality care and adherence to policies
Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations
Coordinate staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage
Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings
Monitor clinical performance and quality assurance initiatives
Serve as a liaison between staff, physicians, residents, and families
Manage audits, surveys, and corrective action plans as needed

Qualifications:
Current RN license in [State]
Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in long-term care
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and clinical best practices
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
