Bundaberg Sugar is a vital part of Australia's agricultural heritage and a key player in global food production. AWX is currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Packaging Operator to join our team and help deliver high-quality products to customers across the world.
About the Role
As a Packaging Operator, you'll be responsible for the efficient operation of packaging machinery and ensuring our products meet strict quality and safety standards. You'll play a hands-on role in the final stage of productionwhere precision and attention to detail really matter.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor packaging equipment in a fast-paced production environment
Ensure product quality meets company and regulatory standards
Conduct routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
Troubleshoot minor faults and escalate issues as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work area in line with WHS guidelines
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or packaging (preferred but not essential)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work shifts, including weekends if required
A proactive attitude toward safety and teamwork
Forklift ticket and experience essential
