This is a state of the art 60-bed private hospital at Mount Eliza on the picturesque Mornington Peninsula. We see these facilities as not just delivering trauma informed programs but rather having a trauma informed culture and facility itself. We are interested in developing this culture from the ground up and get go through training our staff in some principles in trauma informed care around awareness and safety, security, self-efficacy, through an induction program.
We also think it is time to enhance some of the emerging technology in delivering these clinical interventions. We are proposing that people receive a wearable device upon admission and get given a tablet where they can steer through their inpatient journey and continue this as an outpatient. We think is a way of orientating people but also collecting very valuable information, both biometric and psychometric, self-reported and clinician reported.
The design of the hospital has also been well considered including the use of circadian lighting throughout the facility.
Own Part of the Hospital
Eligible members are invited to take a 2% share in the hospital. The plan offers Foundation Doctors an opportunity to participate in group ownership and benefit economically from the performance of the individual hospitals.
Income from Private Billings is $600,000 to $800,000 per annum
