Manager – Business Services & Advisory Boutique Advisory & Accounting Firm | Rhodes / Bella Vista

A growing boutique advisory and accounting firm is seeking an experienced Manager to join its Business Services & Advisory team.
The firm operates as a trusted adviser to SME, private, and high-net-worth clients, delivering tailored accounting, taxation, and commercial advisory solutions. With a relationship-driven and hands-on approach, the practice focuses on providing strategic guidance that extends beyond compliance.

The Opportunity This role will see you managing a diverse portfolio of SME and private clients across accounting, taxation, compliance, and advisory matters. You will work closely with leadership while playing a key role in mentoring staff, strengthening client relationships, and driving service excellence across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of business and private clients across compliance and advisory engagements
• Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships
• Lead client meetings and provide commercially focused advice
• Review financial statements, tax returns, and related compliance work
• Identify advisory opportunities and support business growth initiatives
• Mentor, train, and review the work of junior team members
• Manage workflow, deadlines, and resource allocation across onshore and offshore teams
• Work closely with Directors on strategic client matters and practice initiatives
• Maintain high standards of technical quality, client service, and operational efficiency

About You For clarity, the requirements for this Manager role are:

• Native-level English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing a client portfolio of up to approximately $1.5M
• Confidence in direct client communication, engagement, and leading meetings
• Proven experience managing teams, both onshore and offshore
• Ideally management-level experience within another public practice accounting firm

In addition, you will ideally have:

• CA or CPA qualification
• Strong technical knowledge across business services and taxation
• Experience working with SME and privately owned business clients
• A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
• Strong leadership, delegation, and review capabilities
• Experience using Xero and cloud-based accounting systems

Salary Circa $140k–165k + Super depending on capability and portfolio experience.
