Known for their collaborative culture, strong delivery capability and consistent pipeline of work, they have established themselves as one of the leading builders in the Australian market, and are now looking for an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join the team on a $100M government project in the Eastern Suburbs.
The Role
- Lead the end-to-end procurement and administration of subcontract packages including scope preparation, tendering, negotiations, lettings and final account management
- Manage subcontractor claims, variations, cost forecasting and commercial reporting to ensure project budgets and commercial targets are achieved
- Assist with head contract administration including progress claims, external variations, contractual correspondence and risk management
- Coordinate RFIs, consultant communication and subcontractor engagement to support programme delivery and mitigate project risk
- Work closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team while mentoring junior CA's within the commercial team
- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar
- 5+ years’ experience as a CA / Senior CA with a head contractor in Australia
- Proven experience delivering new build construction projects valued $50M+
- Strong understanding of procurement, subcontract management, cost control and head contract administration
- Detail-oriented with strong commercial acumen, communication skills and ability to work within a high-performing project team
