Job Title: Senior Business Advisor ( Management Accountant )
12 months
Hours/Days 35p/w
Pay Rate : AUD 546 plus super
Location: 4 Parramatta Square + WFH Hybrid (2-3 days a week in 4PSQ)
MUST HAVE : Expert financial and accounting / Audit process and audit query / NSW Government Experience / Compliance / Develop budgets and monthly forecasts
Primary purpose of the role:
- Provide timely, expert financial and accounting information as Senior Business Advisor and advice to the Manager
- Business Advisory and develop budgets and monthly forecasts for assigned functional areas to meet the financial
- Business performance requirements of the Department.
- This includes month end reporting and other ad hoc information and reporting requests.
- Preparation of the annual budgets, budget loads to MyOutcomes and budget reconciliations.
- Provide analysis on financial performance, accounting, savings target and business monitoring
- Support management to understand and make decisions about current and future business performance.
- Prepare PRIME submissions related to Carry Forwards,
- Parameter Technical Adjustments (PTAs) and New Policy Proposals.
- Prepare monthly management reports, journals and assists in ad hoc Cluster requests.
- Support in Audit process and audit query, annual returns.
- Provide analytical support services to respond to client requests.
- Support in systems improvement and implementation required by the Department
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
- Confident in business partnering with diverse stakeholders including non-finance customers.
