Key Responsibilities: • Oversee and complete the Minimum Data Set (MDS) process in compliance with federal and state guidelines. • Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other departments to ensure accurate documentation and assessment. • Monitor and audit records for accuracy and completeness. • Participate in care plan meetings and ensure care plans are updated as needed. • Stay current with regulatory changes affecting MDS and reimbursement processes.
Qualifications:
• Current LPN or RN license in Tennessee (required). • Previous experience as an MDS Coordinator in a skilled nursing facility. • Strong knowledge of RAI process, PPS, and Medicare guidelines. • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills. • Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
