Admissions Coordinator (Nursing Home)

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Admissions Coordinator (Director). Responsible for managing the admissions process. Will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to facilitate a smooth transition into our care facility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the admissions process, including pre-admission assessments, documentation review, and financial arrangements.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to gather necessary medical information and ensure accurate patient assessments.
• Educate patients and families about available services and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
• Coordinate with insurance providers to verify coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of care for new admissions

Requirements

• Previous experience in admissions management within a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, and budgeting.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
