About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Grade 1 Surveyor to join a dynamic underground gold mining operation. You will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely survey services to support safe and efficient mining activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct underground and surface surveying activities to support mine development and production
- Set out mine designs, including drilling, development headings, and infrastructure
- Perform regular pickups and produce accurate survey plans and reports
- Maintain and manage survey control networks
- Ensure all survey data is processed, validated, and stored in accordance with site procedures
- Collaborate closely with engineering and geology teams to support operational requirements
- Uphold safety standards and contribute to a strong safety culture on-site
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
About You
- Grade 1 Surveyor certification or working towards
- Proven experience in underground mining survey (gold mining experience highly regarded)
- Proficiency with survey software (e.g. Surpac, Deswik, Vulcan or similar)
- Experience using modern survey equipment (Total Station, Laser Scanner, GPS, where applicable)
- Strong understanding of mine surveying principles and practices
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Current driver’s licence
