Apply directWhat You’ll Be Doing:
- Greet prospective residents and provide exceptional, informative property tours
- Respond to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
- Process applications, income verifications, and required documentation in accordance with LIHTC regulations
- Assist in completing move-in paperwork and conducting move-in orientations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of available units, floor plans, and leasing promotions
- Ensure all leasing and compliance files are accurate, complete, and audit-ready
- Support recertification processes and ongoing LIHTC compliance requirements
- Help manage resident communications and resolve basic concerns professionally
- Update listings and marketing materials across platforms to drive traffic
- Use property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage) for daily tasks and reporting
What We’re Looking For:
- 1+ year of experience in leasing, sales, or property management (affordable housing experience preferred)
- Bilingual Spanish helpful
- Working knowledge of LIHTC leasing requirements and compliance processes is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Sales-minded with the ability to close leases and meet occupancy goals
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling paperwork and documentation
- Familiarity with Fair Housing laws and leasing regulations
- Experience with property management software is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; industry certifications (TCS, COS, C3P) are a bonus
