Details about the role:
- Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 - 17:00pm
- Pay rate: £14.10p/h
- Location: Peterborough, Cardea Area
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Accuracy: Performing regular cycle counts and full stock takes, reconciling physical stock with WMS (Warehouse Management System) records.
- Goods In/Out Management: Receiving deliveries, checking against purchase orders, and managing dispatch documentation to ensure accurate stock movement.
- Data Administration: Updating inventory systems, maintaining accurate records of stock location, and generating reports on stock levels and movements.
- Replenishment & Forecasting: Monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking and raising orders to replenish inventory.
- Damaged/Non-Conforming Stock: Identifying and managing damaged, expired, or quarantine items.
- Operational Support: Liaising with warehouse staff to ensure efficient picking, packing, and, in some cases, operating forklifts to locate stock.
Key Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or stores management.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to recording data to avoid discrepancies.
- Numerical Skills: Strong numerical ability for auditing and calculating stock requirements.
