Digital Infrastructure Network And Things Lead (Information Technology)

I’m currently partnering with a large-scale essential services organisation looking for an experienced Network & Infrastructure Lead to join their digital operations team - this role requires an immediate start running until the end of September 

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee a team responsible for enterprise network services across IT, OT and IoT environments. You’ll play a key part in keeping critical infrastructure secure, stable and performing at a high level while also driving continuous improvement across operations, vendors and service delivery.

This role would suit someone who enjoys balancing technical leadership with stakeholder engagement and operational strategy.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading day-to-day network operations across core infrastructure environments
• Managing and mentoring a team of engineers and technical specialists
• Driving network reliability, availability, performance and security initiatives
• Overseeing incident, problem, change and service management activities
• Working closely with vendors and service providers to ensure strong outcomes
• Supporting infrastructure improvement projects and future network strategy
• Ensuring operational documentation, governance and compliance standards are maintained
• Providing technical guidance across enterprise network architecture and services

What we’re looking for:

• Strong background leading complex network infrastructure environments
• Experience across enterprise networking, infrastructure and operational support
• Exposure to IT, OT and/or IoT environments highly regarded
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams within large organisations
• Strong understanding of network operations, service management and vendor management
• Ability to work closely with stakeholders across both technical and business teams
• Experience within highly regulated or critical infrastructure environments is advantageous
• Must be available IMMEDIATLY
