What You'll Be Doing
- Producing accurate, timely monthly financial reports for senior leadership and the Board to support strategic decision-making
- Delivering monthly and annual financial reporting, including management accounts, variance analysis, and commentary
- Leading the annual budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycle — with clear financial narratives for stakeholders
- Overseeing balance sheet reconciliations, standing journals, allocations, and entity reporting
- Identifying and implementing improvements to internal processes and controls to enhance efficiency and financial integrity
- Providing strategic finance advice and guidance across business divisions
- Using data and insights to drive performance in your area of responsibility
- Leading or mentoring team members where applicable
About You
- CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent) with solid post-qualification experience in a financial reporting or management accounting role
- Strong technical accounting skills, you know your way around month-end, budgeting, and board-level reporting
- Commercially minded, with the ability to translate numbers into meaningful narratives for non-finance stakeholders
- A natural relationship builder who can influence outcomes and work effectively with senior leaders
- Process improvement mindset; you spot inefficiencies and do something about them
- Experience in a large, complex organisation is an advantage
