The Opportunity – Intermediate Accountant
This role is ideal for an Intermediate Accountant looking to further develop their technical skills within a supportive and collaborative environment, with exposure to a broad client base and clear progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients, including individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies
- Assisting with tax compliance, BAS and IAS preparation
- Liaising directly with clients to gather information and respond to queries
- Supporting senior accountants and managers with advisory and compliance work
- Exposure to business advisory matters as your experience develops
- Ensuring work is completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with legislative requirements
Skills & Experience Required:
- 2–4 years’ experience in public practice accounting
- Currently studying or intending to commence CA or CPA qualification
- Sound knowledge of Australian tax and accounting standards
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Confident communication skills and a professional approach to client interaction
