Beaumont People are partnering with a well-loved Not-for-Profit organisation to recruit an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on a temporary basis (till the EOFY).

You will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 500 employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive employee experience across the organisation.

About the Role
You will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 500 employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive employee experience across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end payroll processing for a medium-large employee base (approx. 500 staff)
- Accurate interpretation and application of Awards, EBAs, and employment contracts
- Managing payroll queries with a strong customer-service focus
- Maintaining and updating payroll records and systems
- Supporting audits, reporting, and continuous process improvements
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing
- Preceda experience is essential
- Background in the care sector (e.g. healthcare, disability, aged care, or NFP) highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of Awards, EBAs, and payroll legislation
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume workloads
- Proactive, organised, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Confident communicator with a strong, employee-focused approach
