Position Summary
An opportunity exists for a Project Manager based in Perth, WA, to lead the delivery of major mining water treatment and process infrastructure projects for a Tier 1 resource sector client.
The role will focus on managing D&C treatment and process plant projects from design through construction and commissioning, working closely with internal engineering teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders.
Projects are located within approximately one hour of the Perth CBD, providing strong site involvement without extensive FIFO requirements.
This role is ideally suited to a Mechanical Engineer with strong construction and project delivery experience across water treatment plants, process plants, or industrial infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage D&C water treatment and process infrastructure projects end-to-end
- Coordinate design, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning activities
- Lead project delivery teams and provide support to Project Engineers and site personnel
- Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasting, and commercial performance
- Oversee subcontractors and ensure works are delivered safely and to specification
- Maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders and project partners
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies early
- Support tendering, project planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Drive a strong safety and delivery culture across all project activities
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline
- Proven experience delivering D&C water treatment plants, process plants, or industrial infrastructure projects
- Strong construction and project management background within mining, industrial, or infrastructure sectors
- Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams and subcontractors
- Exposure to commissioning and operational handover activities
- Strong commercial, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capability
- Commitment to safety, quality, and delivery excellence
