Key Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume communication with patients, families, carers and internal stakeholders
- Determine patient classifications, including Medicare eligibility
- Collect and verify patient information, including private health insurance details
- Conduct financial discussions and facilitate upfront payments where required
- Liaise with health funds regarding eligibility and coverage
- Support revenue recovery processes, particularly for ineligible patients
- Previous experience in healthcare - MUST
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to confidently deal with challenging conversations
- High attention to detail
- Team-oriented, adaptable and solutions-focused approach
