Site Manager

Design & Build are seeking an experienced Contract Site Manager to oversee a fast-paced retail refurbishment / fitout project located on Brisbane’s southside.

This is a 10-week contract commencing in late May, involving a combination of day and night shift work to suit project staging and trading requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations across refurbishment and fit out works
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site logistics
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard
• Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
• Oversee compliance with WHS requirements and site documentation
• Manage works within live retail and food retail environments

Requirements

• Current QBCC Site Supervisor License (mandatory)
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Demonstrated experience delivering food retail refurbishment / fit out projects
• Strong understanding of retail construction sequencing and live environment management
• Proven ability to manage both day and night shift operations
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to start in late May
