A nonprofit regional health system in Louisiana is seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join an established and growing GI program due to a physician retirement.
This is a hospital-employed opportunity with immediate patient volume, strong referral support, and the ability to build a highly productive practice quickly without excessive call burden.
The Opportunity
• Replace a retiring physician with immediate built-in volume
• Join an established GI physician with APP support
• Full-spectrum Gastroenterology opportunity
• ERCP available
• EUS growth opportunity with equipment already onsite
• Newly built endoscopy suites with surgical backup
• Dedicated procedure block time
• EPIC EMR
• Shared call structure (~7 days/month)
• Open to experienced physicians and fellows
• J-1 & H-1B visa support available
Compensation & Benefits
• $900K+ earning potential
• Guaranteed base salary plus wRVU production
• Additional call pay
• Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance
• Full benefits package including retirement, CME, and malpractice with tail coverage
