Nominated Individual – Children’s Residential Homes Swindon | Ad Hoc Consultancy | £500 Per Day (Mileage Included) | Flexible Working We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Nominated Individual to provide ad hoc consultancy support for Children’s Residential Homes in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated care professional with strong leadership and regulatory experience within children’s services who is looking for flexible consultancy work. The Role You will act as the Nominated Individual for Ofsted-registered children’s homes, supporting providers to maintain high standards of care, safeguarding, compliance, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Acting as the Nominated Individual in line with Ofsted regulations Supporting homes to achieve and maintain compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards Providing strategic oversight and governance support Advising Responsible Individuals and Registered Managers Assisting with inspections, audits, and service improvement plans Supporting safeguarding, safer recruitment, and risk management processes Offering operational guidance and regulatory support where required Requirements Previous experience as a Nominated Individual, Responsible Individual, or senior leader within children’s residential care Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, Children’s Homes Regulations, and Quality Standards Proven experience within children’s residential services Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills Ability to provide consultancy support independently and professionally What’s on Offer £500 per day consultancy rate (mileage included) Flexible ad hoc assignments Remote and on-site consultancy opportunities Opportunity to support a children’s residential provider in Swindon If you are an experienced professional passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people, we would love to hear from you.
