Job Overview:
An International bank in HK seeks a motivated and dynamic Junior Hedge Fund Salesperson to join their expanding sales team, focusing on selling yen-denominated financial products to hedge funds, Institutional and real money clients. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial markets, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sales Development: Assist in identifying and prospecting new hedge fund and real money clients with a focus on yen products, including derivatives, fixed income, and structured products.
  2. Client Engagement: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at hedge funds and institutional clients, presenting yen products and tailoring solutions to meet their investment needs.
  3. Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to stay up-to-date on trends in the yen and related financial products, providing insights to the sales team and clients.
  4. Presentation and Reporting: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and sales materials that effectively communicate the value proposition of yen products to clients.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with trading, research, and product development teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies and product offerings.
  6. Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance metrics and client feedback to optimize sales strategies and enhance client satisfaction.
  7. Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  2. 1-2 years of experience in financial sales, preferably within hedge funds or asset management.
  3. Strong understanding of yen products and the broader financial markets.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Japanese is a plus.
  5. Proven ability to build relationships and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  6. Highly motivated, with a strong desire to learn and develop a career in financial sales.
